A Push Event is a large-scale Prayer Walk where many people come together to canvass a specific area over a set time frame. The goal of a Push Event is to discover persons of peace—those who welcome prayer, receive a Bible story, and want to share it with friends and family. These individuals are then followed up by those who made the first contact, guiding them to become repeat storytellers, teaching them about Discovery Bible Study (DBS), and eventually coaching them to form a Discovery Group.
It offers several benefits:
Unity: Believers come together with a common goal—making God known to those who desperately need Him.
Discovery: Increased man-hours, make it easier to surface people of peace, which can spark a movement.
Encouragement: It shows individual believers that many others are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission.

PREPARATION
The two key preparation elements are training and prayer.
Training: Identify people you can begin training now to become trainers of others in preparation for PUSH. Train by explaining and doing Prayer Walk and DBS with them. How many people show up for PUSH will largely depend on how many people we train now.
Prayer: Begin praying personally, in teams and on monthly PUSH Zoom prayer calls. Set up a reminder each day to pray that PUSH would surface POP. Think of ways to creatively include PUSH prayers into existing group prayer events. Attend the once a month, one hour Zoom PUSH prayer events. Here is the link.
